You read that correctly. We are having a spring party dedicated to beer and sausages! Well, and also cider, live music, outdoor celebrations, new releases, a mug club, and so much more.
The idea of hosting an annual Sausage Fest at our Heights taproom came about when our founder cidermaker, John, purchased an ungodly number of proper sausages, dogs, and wieners in Portland to have a little cookout for staff and friends. While gorging ourselves on delicious salty food, we thought, "Hmmm, what if we make this an annual event for our customers and the community?" And here we are.
The celebration will take place inside and outside (regardless of weather) at our Heights taproom on Saturday, June 4 from Noon to 10pm. The party is dog-friendly and there is also plenty of areas for minors to enjoy with family. We will be releasing two new beers plus some of our fruited summer ciders for your enjoyment. The party will feature food from Altengartz German Sausages and Kalani's Shave Ice & Acai Bowls. We will host hot dog eating contests for humans and four-leggers with prizes, in addition to bringing back the Beer Belly .5k Fun Run you all love!
Significantly, this party also marks the launch of our Mug Club membership. We have a limited number of memberships available for those 21 years or better, and you have to sign up in person in our Heights taproom. There is no cover charge or entry fee for this party, and valid ID is required.
